Tempest Ruth Hair Care Guide

Tempest Ruth extensions are crafted for longevity and salon grade performance. With proper care, your extensions can last 3–5 years while maintaining their softness, movement, and integrity.

Washing & Conditioning

To maintain moisture and prevent buildup, wash your extensions using a sulfate free shampoo, followed by a moisturizing conditioner. For deeper hydration, we recommend using Silicon Mix hair treatment periodically to restore softness and shine.

Always detangle gently before washing using a detangling brush such as an UnBrush, starting from the ends and working your way upward to prevent unnecessary tension on the wefts.

Styling

Tempest Ruth extensions are versatile and hold styles beautifully. When styling with heat, always apply a heat protectant to preserve the hair’s integrity.

For best results, allow the hair to air dry whenever possible, or style using low to moderate heat settings. 

Night Care & Storage

To protect your extensions while sleeping, we recommend wearing a satin bonnet to reduce friction and preserve your style overnight. 

When the hair is not being worn, store dry in a satin or velvet bag to maintain smoothness and prevent tangling. Be sure the hair is completely dry before placing it in either bag.
